2022/23 Season Gift Guide

By: Katie Rosenfelt / November 21, 2022

It’s official - the 2022/23 season has started! And with it, the holidays. Here at UtahSkis, we get that it can be difficult to shop for others. We wanted to take the stress out of and add in stoke to the gift giving season - use our quick guide to find some awesome gift options for every skier or boarder.

Give the Gift of Travel

This is a great option for those that regularly travel to explore different resorts each season. Bundle in lodging, as many resorts offer ticket packages! If you’re not sure about availability, look at giving a voucher so it can be used when it works best for the recipient.

Upgrade Their Gear

Having functioning and well-fitting gear is extremely important. When ski gear starts to get faulty due to use and age or doesn't fit like it used to (growing kids!), it can become unsafe to continue using. Take count of what gear your skier or boarder has and what appears to need replacing and go from there. Or, if you’re just not sure, ask them!

Still not sure where to start when it comes to shopping for ski gear? The pros at UtahSkis put together comprehensive gift guides to make it easier to find some cool gear for the ones you’re shopping for.

Keep Them On the Slopes All Season

It’s not too late to get a season pass! Many resorts and multi-resort passes are still offering this option - and it can make for a big surprise. If a season pass isn’t the right fit for the one you’re buying it for, it might be worth a look at punchcard-like options. For example, Ikon offers a 4-Day pass*. Epic offers varying options ranging from 1-Day to 7-Day passes**. Or research local resorts and what their options are with limited day passes.

For Utah resorts, like Solitude and Brighton, Ski ‘N See offers some passes at discounted rates. Check out their Discount Lift Ticket page for more information:
