There are few things that beat driving up the canyon, gear in tow, looking forward to a great day on the mountain. However, nothing kills the vibe more than the headache of figuring out parking! That’s why we’ve assembled an overview of all the info you need to make parking at your favorite Utah resort a breeze. You can thank us later- start reading so that you can hit the slopes!
Alta
Parking reservations are required between 8 am and 1 pm on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and holidays. Ambitious and looking to park earlier than 8 am? You’ll need a special Early Morning Parking Reservation.
However, you’re off the hook (i.e. it’s first-come, first-serve parking):
- Monday through Thursday from 8 am on (excluding holidays)
- Holidays and weekends from 1 pm on

Brighton
Parking reservations are required between 7 am and 12 pm on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and holidays. There is no parking available before 7 am. If you bring some friends to ski/board with you, parking is cheaper! Vehicles with 4+ passengers get a discount (this does not apply to oversized vehicles).
Parking without a reservation is an option:
- Monday through Thursday from 7 am on (excluding holidays)
- Holidays and weekends from 12 pm on
You can also make a Preferred Parking Reservation if you want a guaranteed spot and are looking to come Monday - Thursday between 7 and 11am.

Deer Valley
No reservations required! There are also no parking fees. Vehicles with 3+ passengers can get priority parking on the weekends in Lot 2 at the Snow Park Base.

Nordic Valley
No parking fees, no reservations. Just you and the mountain (and hopefully your car- that would be a long walk).

Park City
Parking reservations are required from 8:30 am - 1 pm every day at all the Mountain Village surface lots (Main, First Time, and Silver King). The Mountain Village Parking Garage always requires reservations, regardless of the time. Parking reservations in all areas are free for vehicles with 4+ passengers.
First-come, first-serve parking is available:
- In the Mountain Village surface lots any day, from 1pm on
- In the Mountain Village surface lots if you arrive AND depart prior to 8:30am (for
all you early birds)
- In the Canyons Village Cabriolet lot
- In the Upper Canyons Village lot, Pendry Parking Garage, and on-street in the
- Park City Canyons Village (though these are still paid)
- At Park City High School (on weekends and holidays)

Snowbasin
No reservations required! There are also no parking fees. However, on weekends and holidays up until 11am, the Earl parking lots A through E are only for vehicles with 3+ passengers (after 11am, they are open to anyone). On weekdays, section A is reserved for carpooling (3+ passenger vehicles) as well.

Snowbird
Snowbird offers a variety of free parking with no reservations required. There is also day-of paid parking, valet paid parking, and reserved paid parking, if that’s your preference. In addition, there are special carpool spots reserved for vehicles with 3+ passengers. Snowbird’s website has a detailed map that outlines their different parking options.

Solitude
Parking reservations are required between 7 am and 11 am on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and holidays. From 11 am and 1pm on these days, parking is first-come, first-serve with a fee.
On weekdays there are no reservations required (unless it’s a holiday). However, there is a day-of parking fee for vehicles with 2 or fewer passengers. Vehicles with 4+ passengers park free regardless of the day, though on weekends a reservation is still required.
Parking is free for all vehicles every day after 1pm! For more details, visit parksolitude.com/reserve-n-ski.
Sundance
No parking reservations required, however there are day-of parking fees until 2 pm on weekends (Friday – Sunday) and holidays. Vehicles with 4+ passengers always park free though, so grab those friends again. Or maybe pick up some hitchhikers on your way up the canyon? Ok, probably not that.
