Mens Ski Size Chart
Step 1: Choose your base length by your weight
Weight (lbs) | Base Length (cm) |
110-110 | 147 |
120-129 | 150 |
130-139 | 154 |
140-149 | 159 |
150-159 | 164 |
160-169 | 169 |
170-179 | 174 |
180-219 | 176 |
220+ | 180 |
Note: If you are above 6'2" and weigh under 170 lbs, your base length should be 174.
Step 2: Adjust for skill level
Skill Level | Adjustment |
Beginner | -3 |
Intermediate | 0 |
Advanced Intermediate | +3 |
Advanced | +6 |
Expert | +6 |
Note: Skiing style should not be confused for skill level. For example, an advanced skier who can handle any terrain may still ski cautiously.
Step 3: Adjust for riding style
Riding Style | Adjustment |
Cautious | -3 |
Average | 0 |
Aggressive | +3 |
Step 4: Adjust for primary terrain
Primary Terrain | Adjustment |
Groomers | 0 |
All Mountain | +6 |
Off Trail/Backcountry | +9 |
Freestyle | +3 |
Once you have made all three adjustments to your base length, any ski that falls 3cm shorter or longer than this represents your ideal ski length range.
