The Swix T80 Steel Scraper is a heavy-duty tool designed for critical base preparation. Unlike plexi scrapers used for wax removal, the steel scraper is specifically used for scraping down the ski base before laying a new structure. It is primarily used to remove hardened, oxidized base material, which is essential before applying repair material (P-tex) or when restoring an old, tired base that no longer accepts wax effectively.
